Programs

Cosmetology Program- 1200 Hours

The Cosmetology program is designed to train students in the area of manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, facial, waxing, makeup, and hair modification. Hair modifications include but are not limited to washing, cutting, styling, coloring, and straightening of hair. Other topics to be covered in this program included communication skills, human relations, infection controls, HIV/AIDS and business ethics. Registration for licensure in the State of Florida will be sent after completion of clock hours and services. Once licensed, students will be able to work in shops as a cosmetologist or may work as educators in the beauty industry.

Barbering Program- 900 Hours

The Barbering program is designed to train students in the areas of cutting, shaving, facial, waxing, and hair modification. Hair modifications include but are not limited to washing, cutting, styling, coloring, and straightening of hair. Other topics to be covered in this program included communication skills, human relations, infection controls, HIV/AIDS and business ethics. Registration for licensure in the State of Florida will be sent after completion of clock hours and services. Once licensed, students will be able to work as barbers in shops and salons or may work as educators in the beauty industry.

Restricted Barb​ering Program- 600 Hours 

The Restricted Barbering program is designed to train students in the areas of cutting, shaving, facial, waxing, and hair modification. Hair modification include but are not limited to washing, cutting, and styling.  Other topics to be covered in this program include communication skills, human relations, infection controls, HIV/AIDS and business ethics. Registration for licensure in the State of Florida will be sent after completion of clock hours and services. Once licensed, students will be able to work as Restricted Barbers in shops and salons or may work as educators in the beauty industry. 

Full Specialist ​Program- 600 Hours

The Full Specialist program is designed to train students in area of facials, manicures/pedicures, applying artificial nails, wraps, waxing, and makeup. Other topics to be covered in this program include communication skills, human relations, infection controls, HIV/AIDS and business ethics. Registration for licensure in the State of Florida will be sent after completion of clock hours and services.


Nail Technology Program- 240 Hours

Nail Technology program provides an extensive hands on experience with many types of acrylic and gel nails. Students will learn to provide manicures and pedicures. There will also be many creative opportunities for students to perform nail art. Other topics to be covered in this program include communication skills, human relations, infection controls, HIV/AIDS and business ethics. Once licensed, students will be able to work in salons, spas, or their own business as nail technicians.
