Financial Aid is available for those who qualify, and UR Beauty & Barber Academy proudly participates in Federal Student Aid programs. Students can apply online at the official FAFSA website or contact our Financial Aid Office for assistance with the full process. If you do not qualify for federal financial aid, UR Beauty & Barber Academy offers affordable in-house payment plans to help make your education accessible. What is Financial Aid? Financial aid is funding from the federal government that helps students pay for their education. Aid may come in the form of grants, loans, or work-study (if applicable). UR Beauty & Barber Academy participates in Federal Pell Grantsand Federal Direct Loans
What is a Pell Grant? The Federal Pell Grant is financial aid that does not have to be repaid. It is awarded to students based on financial need and enrollment status.
How do I apply for Financial Aid? You must complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at: https://studentaid.gov/ List UR Beauty & Barber Academy as your school so we receive your information.
What is the difference between Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans? Subsidized Loans: Based on financial need The government pays the interest while you are in school. Unsubsidized Loans: Not based on financial need Interest accrues immediately, even while in school
What is the Master Promissory Note (MPN)? The MPN is a legal document stating you agree to repay your federal loans. You must sign an MPN before loan funds can be disbursed.
What if I don’t qualify for Financial Aid? We offer flexible in-house payment plans for students who do not qualify for federal aid. Contact our Financial Aid Office for details.
